House illustrator of the daily La Libre Belgique since 1996.

Studied drawing at Saint-Luc and sociology at the Université Catholique de Louvain.

Worked for ten years as a graphic artist, illustrator, photographer and journalist and as an editor at a youth organisation.

He published a stop comic, Le Quatrième Pouvoir, in La Libre Belgique for a while, bundled in book form (now out of print) by Luc Pire.

In 2010, Clou won the Press Cartoon Belgium audience award.
