Bart Schoofs (° 26-12-1969) spent his youth in the Floreal garden suburb in Watermael-Boitsfort and Werchter. He went to school at the Royal Atheneum of Keerbergen. He later studied applied graphics at the Sint-Lucas Institute in Brussels (1988-1992).

He previously worked as a kitchen assistant (one day), museum attendant (1996-1998) and driver (2004-present).

Bart Schoofs lives in Kessel-Lo.

He has published in De Tijd, De Standaard, De Morgen (magazine) , Knack, Bonanza, Zone 5300 and the home magazines of scouts and guides Stiekem, Over&Weer and Boem!
